6. Formal Translation Thus says the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Divine Commander}: “If it appears marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it be marvelous in My eyes as well?” declares the LORD of hosts. |
6. Dynamic Translation The LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, All-Powerful Leader} says, “Even if what occurs looks astonishing to the surviving community in those days, would it be too astonishing for Me?” declares the LORD of hosts. |
