9. Formal Translation Thus says the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Sovereign Commander}: Let your hands be resolute, you who are listening to these words in these days from the prophets who were present when the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, so that the temple might be built. |
9. Dynamic Translation This is what the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Divine Encourager} says: Take courage and stand firm, all who hear these words today from the prophets who spoke them when the foundation of the temple was laid, so that it may be rebuilt. |
