14. Formal Translation The ark of God {ha-Elohim, Divine Dwelling} stayed with the household of Obed-Edom in his house for three months, and the LORD {Yahweh, Blessing Giver} blessed the household of Obed-Edom and all that belonged to him. |
14. Dynamic Translation For three months the ark of God {ha-Elohim, Sacred Vault} remained with Obed-Edom’s family in his home, and the LORD {Yahweh, Source of Blessing} blessed his household and everything he owned. |
