19. Formal Translation And Shallum, son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah, and his brothers of the house of their father—the Korahites—were over the work of the service as keepers of the thresholds for the tent. Their ancestors were over the camp of the LORD {Yahweh, Sanctuary Guardian} as keepers of the entrance. |
19. Dynamic Translation Shallum, son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph and grandson of Korah, and his family—the Korahites—were responsible for the work of serving, guarding the thresholds at the tent. Their forebears also oversaw the camp of the LORD {Yahweh, Worship Center Protector} as gatekeepers for the entrance. |
