27. Formal Translation But God {Theos, Paradoxical Chooser} chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. |
27. Dynamic Translation Instead, God {Theos, Humbling Sovereign} picked what is foolish by the world’s standards in order to embarrass those who consider themselves wise, and He selected what is weak in the world to put to shame the strong. |
