Exegesis

The present participle apangellōn {ἀπαγγέλλων | apanggéllōn} ‘declaring’ runs in close sequence with the act of worship, introducing the content clause hoti ontōs ho theos en hymin estin {ὅτι Ὄντως ὁ θεὸς ἐν ὑμῖν ἐστιν | hóti Óntōs ho theòs en hymîn estin} ‘that truly God is among you’.
