another’ creates parallel nominal clauses: he ton epouranion doxa {ἡ τῶν ἐπουρανίων δόξα | hē tōn e-pou-ra-ní-ōn dó-xa} ‘the glory of the heavenly ones’ and he ton epigeion (doxa) {ἡ τῶν ἐπιγείων (δόξα) | hē tōn e-pi-ge-í-ōn (dó-xa)} ‘the glory of the earthly ones,’ with the second doxa understood by ellipsis. The genitives ton epouranion and ton epigeion function as possessive genitives marking spheres of existence.
