12. Formal Translation But to the rest I say—I, not the Lord {Kyrios, One who gave earlier teaching}—that if any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she consents to live with him, he must not send her away. |
12. Dynamic Translation Now to the others I speak—not the Lord {Kyrios, Divine Lawgiver}—if any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is willing to live with him, he should not divorce her. |
