34. Formal Translation
And there is division: the unmarried woman and the virgin are concerned for the things of the Lord {Kyrios, Devotional Master}, so that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But the married woman is concerned for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
34. Dynamic Translation
Her interests are divided. The unmarried woman or virgin focuses on the Lord’s {Kyrios, Focus of Service} affairs, wanting to be holy in both body and spirit. But the married woman is concerned about worldly matters, seeking to please her husband.
