25. Formal Translation But everyone who competes exercises self-control in all things. They do it so that they might receive a perishable crown, but we do it for an imperishable one. |
25. Dynamic Translation Every athlete practices self-control in every area. Those competitors do it to receive a crown that will fade, but we pursue one that will never perish. |
