5. Formal Translation But if anyone keeps His word, then in that one the love of God {Theos, Indwelling Love} has been perfected; by this we know that we are in Him. |
5. Dynamic Translation But when someone obeys His word, God’s {Theos, Transforming Love} love is truly made complete in that person. This is how we know that we are in Him. |
