16. Formal Translation If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God {Theos, Life Giver} will give him life—for those who are sinning not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death; I am not saying that he should ask about that. |
16. Dynamic Translation If someone sees a fellow believer committing wrongdoing that does not lead to death, that person should pray, and God {Theos, Life Restorer} will give him life—for those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death; I am not telling you to pray about that. |
