12. Formal Translation And the king fashioned supports from the almug wood for the house of the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Sovereign} and for the king’s house, and he also made lyres and harps for the singers. Never has such almug wood been brought or seen since that time. |
12. Dynamic Translation Solomon used the almug wood to create supports for the temple of the LORD {Yahweh, Majestic King} and his palace, and he fashioned harps and lyres for the musicians. No almug wood of this kind has ever been brought in or seen since then. |
