27. Formal Translation If these people go up to offer sacrifices in the house of the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Authority} in Jerusalem, then the heart of these people will return to their lord, Rehoboam king of Judah. They will kill me and return to Rehoboam king of Judah. |
27. Dynamic Translation If these people go up to present sacrifices at the LORD’s {Yahweh, Covenant Keeper} house in Jerusalem, their loyalty will turn back to their master, Rehoboam king of Judah. They will kill me and return to Rehoboam king of Judah. |
