1 Kings 13:29:1וַיִּשָּׂ֨אvayissatook up
1 Kings 13:29:2הַנָּבִ֜יאhannavithe prophet 1 Kings 13:29:3אֶת־נִבְלַ֧תetnivlatthe corpse of 1 Kings 13:29:4אִישׁ־הָאֱלֹהִ֛יםishhaelohimthe man of God 1 Kings 13:29:5וַיַּנִּחֵ֥הוּvayannikhehulaid him 1 Kings 13:29:6אֶֽל־הַחֲמ֖וֹרelhakhamoronto the donkey 1 Kings 13:29:7וַיְשִׁיבֵ֑הוּvayeshivehubrought him back 1 Kings 13:29:8וַיָּבֹ֗אvayavocame 1 Kings 13:29:9אֶל־עִיר֙elirto the city of 1 Kings 13:29:10הַנָּבִ֣יאhannavithe prophet 1 Kings 13:29:11הַזָּקֵ֔ןhazzakenold 1 Kings 13:29:12לִסְפֹּ֖דlispodto mourn 1 Kings 13:29:13וּלְקָבְרֽוֹ׃ulekavroto bury him
29. Formal Translation
And the prophet lifted the body of the man of God {Elohim, Divine Messenger} and placed it upon the donkey. Then he brought him back and came to the city of the old prophet to mourn and to bury him.
29. Dynamic Translation
So the prophet picked up the body of the man of God {Elohim, God’s representative} and placed it on the donkey. He went back to the elder prophet’s town to grieve and bury him.
