33. Formal Translation After this event Jeroboam did not turn back from his evil way, but again made priests from the lowest ranks of the people for the high places; whoever desired it he filled his hand and became a priest of the high places. |
33. Dynamic Translation Even after this Jeroboam did not change his wicked ways. Instead, he again appointed priests for the high places from the least regarded among the people; he installed them and they served at the high places. |
