6. Formal Translation And the king answered and said to the man of God, “Please seek the face of the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikha, Covenant Healer} and pray for me, that my hand may return to me.” So the man of God sought the face of the LORD and the king’s hand was restored to him and became as it was before. |
6. Dynamic Translation The king replied to the man of God, “I beg you, entreat the favor of the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikha, Divine Restorer} and pray for me, so that my hand may be restored.” So the man of God prayed to the LORD and the king’s hand was healed and became just as it had been. |
