20. Formal Translation
The days that Jeroboam reigned were twenty-two years; then he lay down with his fathers, and his son Nadab reigned in his place.
20. Dynamic Translation
Jeroboam ruled for twenty-two years, then he died and joined his ancestors, and his son Nadab became king in his place.
