29. Formal Translation
And it was told to King Solomon that Joab had fled to the tent of the LORD {Yahweh, Holy Refuge-Giver}, and behold, he was beside the altar. Then Solomon sent Benaiah son of Jehoiada, saying, “Go, strike him.”
29. Dynamic Translation
King Solomon was told that Joab had fled to the tent of the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge}, and that he was there beside the altar; so Solomon sent Benaiah son of Jehoiada and said, “Go, strike him down.”
