13. Formal Translation
And the two men, sons of worthlessness, came and sat opposite him; and the sons of worthlessness testified against Naboth before the people, saying, “Naboth has blessed God {Elohim, Covenant Judge} and the king.” Then they brought him outside the city and stoned him with stones, and he died.
13. Dynamic Translation
So the two worthless men came and sat facing him. The scoundrels gave false testimony against Naboth in front of the crowd, claiming, “Naboth has cursed both God {Elohim, Divine Authority} and the king.” Then they led him outside the city and killed him by stoning.
