Audio Guide vah-yah-VOH-oo{וַיָּבֹאוּ and they came} sheh-NEE{שְׁנֵי two of} haa-ah-nah-SHEEM{הָאֲנָשִׁים the men} beh-NEE-veh-lih-YAH-ahl{בְּנֵי־בְלִיַּעַל sons of worthlessness} vah-yeesh-VOO{וַיֵּשְׁבוּ and they sat} NEHG-doh{נֶגְדּוֹ opposite him} vah-yeh-ih-dih-DU-oo{וַיְעִדֻהוּ and they testified against him} ahn-SHEE{אַנְשֵׁי men of} hah-beh-lih-YAH-ahl{הַבְּלִיַּעַל the worthlessness} eht-nah-VOHT{אֶת־נָבוֹת (direct object) Naboth} NEH-gehd{נֶגֶד in front of} haa-AHM{הָעָם the people} lee-MOHR{לֵאמֹר saying} BEE-rahkh{בֵּרַךְ he cursed} nah-VOHT{נָבוֹת Naboth} eh-loh-HEEM{אֱלֹהִים God} vaa-MEH-lehkh{וָמֶלֶךְ and (the) king} vah-yoh-tsee-UH-oo{וַיֹּצִאֻהוּ and they brought him out} mih-KHOOTS{מִחוּץ from outside} laa-EER{לָעִיר to the city} vah-yihs-keh-LU-oo{וַיִּסְקְלֻהוּ and they stoned him} vaa-ah-vah-NEEM{בָאֲבָנִים with stones} vah-yah-MOHT{וַיָּמֹת and he died} |
