| 34. Formal Translation And a man drew his bow at random and struck the king of Israel between the scale armor and the breastplate. So he said to his charioteer, “Turn your hand and bring me out of the camp, for I am wounded.” |
| 34. Dynamic Translation Someone drew his bow without aiming and struck the king of Israel in the opening between his armor pieces. The king told his charioteer, “Turn back and pull me out of the battle, for I have been wounded.” |
