23. Formal Translation The king said, “This one says, ‘This is my son who is alive, and your son is deceased.’ But that one says, ‘No, your son is deceased and my son is alive.’” |
23. Dynamic Translation The king said, “One woman claims, ‘My son is alive and your son is dead!’ while the other replies, ‘No, your son is dead and mine is alive!’” |
