46. Formal Translation When they sin against You {Yahweh, Just Judge}, for there is no human who does not sin, and You become angry with them and give them over before an enemy, and their captors take them captive to the land of the enemy, whether far or near. |
46. Dynamic Translation If they sin against You {Yahweh, Holy Discipliner}—since there is no one who does not sin—and You hand them over to an enemy, and their captors carry them off captive to the enemy’s land, far away or nearby. |
