7. Formal Translation Likewise, husbands, live with your wives with understanding knowledge, giving honor to the woman as to a weaker vessel, since they are also fellow-heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered. |
7. Dynamic Translation In the same way, you husbands, live with your wives in a thoughtful, understanding way—honor her as the weaker partner, because you share together the gracious gift of life—so that nothing will block your prayers. |
