19. Formal Translation And they rose early in the morning and worshiped before the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Lord}, then they returned and came to their home at Ramah. Elkanah knew his wife Hannah, and the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Rememberer} remembered her. |
19. Dynamic Translation Early the next morning they got up and worshiped the LORD {Yahweh, Caring Keeper}. Then they went back home to Ramah. Elkanah was intimate with Hannah his wife, and the LORD {Yahweh, Compassionate Rememberer} remembered her. |
