17. Formal Translation Is it not the wheat harvest today? I will call to the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Sustainer}, and He will give thunders and rain, so that you may know and see that your evil is great, which you did in the eyes of the LORD, in asking for yourselves a king. |
17. Dynamic Translation Is this not the time of wheat harvest? I will call on the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Witness}, and He will send thunder and rain. Then you will recognize and see that your wrongdoing is very great before the LORD, because you demanded a king for yourselves. |
