22. Formal Translation And it came to pass on the day of battle that no sword or spear was found in the hand of all the people who were with Saul and Jonathan, but it was found for Saul and for Jonathan his son. |
22. Dynamic Translation So on the day of the battle, none of the people who were with Saul and Jonathan had a sword or spear in their hands, but Saul and his son Jonathan alone possessed them. |
