| 6. Formal Translation And Saul said to the Kenite, “Go, turn aside, depart from among the Amalekites, lest I gather you with him; for you showed kindness to all the sons of Israel when they came up from Egypt.” So the Kenite departed from among the Amalekites. |
| 6. Dynamic Translation Saul told the Kenites, “Move away from among the Amalekites or I might destroy you along with them, for you showed loyal love to all the Israelites when they were coming up from Egypt.” So the Kenites separated themselves from among the Amalekites. |
