Exegesis

The conjunction kî {כִּֽי־ | kî} introduces the reason clause with the perfect verb māṣāʼ {מָ֥צָא | māṣāʼ} “has found,” the noun ḥên {חֵ֖ן | ḥên} “favor,” and the locative phrase bəʿênāy {בְּעֵינָֽי | bəʿênāy} “in my eyes.” English shifts the Hebrew VSO sequence into SVO order and renders the cohortative with polite requests.
