| 23. Formal Translation And it happened, whenever the spirit of God {Elohim, Sovereign Sender} was upon Saul, David would take the lyre and play with his hand, and relief came to Saul, and it was good for him; and the evil spirit departed from him. |
| 23. Dynamic Translation Whenever the spirit from God {Elohim, Divine Agent} came upon Saul, David picked up his harp and played, bringing relief to Saul; he felt better, and the evil spirit left him. |
