וַיַּגִּ֨דוּ{va-yag-GI-du###vah-yahg-GEE-doo###and they told} עֲבָדָ֤יו{a-va-DAV###ah-vah-DAAV###his servants} לְדָוִד֙{le-da-VID###leh-dah-VEED###to David} אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֣ים{ET-ha-de-va-RIM###EHT-hah-deh-vah-REEM###(direct object) the words} הָאֵ֔לֶּה{ha-E-le###haa-EE-leh###these} וַיִּשַׁ֤ר{va-yi-SHAR###vah-yih-SHAR###and it was pleasing} הַדָּבָר֙{ha-da-VAR###hah-daa-VAAR###the matter} בְּעֵינֵ֣י{be-e-NE###beh-eh-NEE###in the eyes of} דָוִ֔ד{da-VID###daa-VEED###David} לְהִתְחַתֵּ֖ן{le-hit-khat-TEN###leh-hihth-khahth-TEHN###to become related by marriage} בַּמֶּ֑לֶךְ{ba-ME-lekh###bah-MEH-lehkh###with the king} וְלֹ֥א{ve-LO###veh-LOH###and not} מָלְא֖וּ{mal-E-u###maal-EH-oo###had been fulfilled} הַיָּמִֽים׃{ha-ya-MIM###hah-yaa-MEEM###the days}
