16. Formal Translation If the man said to him, “Let them burn the fat as an offering today, and afterward take whatever your soul desires,” he would reply, “No; you shall give it now, and if you do not, I will take it by force.” |
16. Dynamic Translation If anyone said to him, “First burn the fat as a sacrifice today, then take whatever you truly want,” he would respond, “No; you must give it to me now, or I will seize it by force.” |
