15. Formal Translation Also, before the fat was burned, the priest’s servant would step forward and say to the one sacrificing, “Offer meat to roast for the priest, for he will not accept boiled meat from you but only raw.” |
15. Dynamic Translation Before the fat was burned, the priest’s young assistant would come and say to the one offering, “Hand over meat for the priest to roast; he will not take boiled meat from you, only raw.” |
