וַיְשַׁנּ֤וֹ{va-yesh-NU###vah-yehsh-NOO###and he changed} אֶת־טַעְמ֙וֹ֙{et-TA-e-mo###eht-TAH-eh-moh###his behavior} בְּעֵינֵיהֶ֔ם{be-e-NE-ye-hem###beh-EE-NEH-yeh-hehm###in their eyes} וַיִּתְהֹלֵ֖ל{va-yit-ho-LEL###vah-yit-hoh-LEHL###and he acted like a madman} בְּיָדָ֑ם{be-ya-DAM###beh-yah-DAAM###in their hand} וַיְתָו֙{va-ye-TAV###vah-yeh-TAAV###and he made marks} עַל־דַּלְת֣וֹת{al-DAL-te-vot###ahl-DAL-teh-voht###on the doors of} הַשַּׁ֔עַר{ha-SHA-ar###hah-SHAH-ahr###the gate} וַיּ֥וֹרֶד{va-yo-RED###vah-yoh-REHD###and he let run down} רִיר֖וֹ{ri-RO###rih-ROH###his saliva} אֶל־זְקָנֽוֹ׃{el-ze-KA-no###ehl-zeh-KAA-noh###to his beard}
