| 6. Formal Translation And the priest gave him the holy bread, for there was no bread for them in that place except the bread of the presence, which was removed to put hot bread in its place on the day it was taken away. |
| 6. Dynamic Translation So the priest gave him the consecrated bread, because there was no other bread there for them except the showbread, which had been taken away to make way for hot bread on that same day. |
