וַיִּֽתְקַבְּצ֣וּ{va-yit-kab-TSU###vah-yihth-kahb-TSOO###and they gathered (themselves)} אֵ֠לָיו{e-LAV###ee-LAAV###to him} כָּל־אִ֨ישׁ{kol-ISH###kohl-EESH###every man} מָצ֜וֹק{ma-TSOK###maa-TSOHK###in distress} וְכָל־אִ֨ישׁ{ve-kol-ISH###veh-kohl-EESH###and every man} אֲשֶׁר־ל֤וֹ{a-SHER-lo###ah-SHEHR-loh###who to him or who had} נֹשֶׁא֙{no-SHE###noh-SHEH###a creditor or one demanding payment} וְכָל־אִ֨ישׁ{ve-kol-ISH###veh-kohl-EESH###and every man} אִ֣ישׁ{ISH###EESH###a man} מַר־נֶ֔פֶשׁ{mar-NE-fesh###mahr-NEH-fehsh###bitter of soul} וַיְהִ֥י{va-ye-HI###vah-yeh-HEE###and he was} עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם{a-LE-hem###ah-LEE-hehm###over them} לְשָׂ֑ר{le-SAR###leh-SAAR###for a commander or ruler} וַיִּהְי֣וּ{va-yih-YU###vah-yih-YOO###and they were} עִמּ֔וֹ{im-MO###ihm-MOH###with him} כְּאַרְבַּ֥ע{ke-ar-BA###keh-ahr-BAA###about four} מֵא֖וֹת{me-OT###mee-OHT###hundreds} אִֽישׁ׃{ISH###EESH###men}
