| 28. Formal Translation So Saul turned back from chasing David and went to confront the Philistines; therefore that place was called Sela Hammachlekot. |
| 28. Dynamic Translation Saul stopped pursuing David and went to meet the Philistine threat. That is why the place came to be called the Rock of Divisions. |
