18. Formal Translation So Samuel told him all the words and did not withhold anything from him. And Eli said, “It is the LORD {Yahweh, Just Arbiter}; let Him do what is good in His eyes.” |
18. Dynamic Translation Samuel told him everything and withheld nothing from him. Then Eli said, “It is the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Lord}; let Him do what He considers best.” |
