1 Samuel 4:20:2מוּתָ֗הּmutahher dying 1 Samuel 4:20:3וַתְּדַבֵּ֙רְנָה֙vattedabernaand they spoke 1 Samuel 4:20:4הַנִּצָּב֣וֹתhannittsavotthe women standing 1 Samuel 4:20:5עָלֶ֔יהָalehaover her or by her 1 Samuel 4:20:6אַל־תִּֽירְאִ֖יaltireido not fear 1 Samuel 4:20:7כִּ֣יkifor 1 Samuel 4:20:8בֵ֣ןvena son 1 Samuel 4:20:9יָלָ֑דְתְּyaladteyou have borne 1 Samuel 4:20:10וְלֹ֥אvelobut not 1 Samuel 4:20:11עָנְתָ֖הanetashe answered 1 Samuel 4:20:12וְלֹא־שָׁ֥תָהveloshataand she did not set 1 Samuel 4:20:13לִבָּֽהּ׃libbaher heart
20. Formal Translation
And as she was dying, the women who stood by her said, “Do not fear, for you have given birth to a son.” But she did not answer, and she did not set her heart to it.
20. Dynamic Translation
As she was passing away, the women attending her said, “Do not be afraid, you have had a son.” But she gave no reply or paid any attention.
