12. Formal Translation And the cows went straight along the road on the highway to Beth Shemesh. They walked steadily, lowing as they went, and did not turn aside to the right or to the left. The Philistine rulers followed them as far as the border of Beth Shemesh. |
12. Dynamic Translation The cows walked directly along the highway toward Beth Shemesh, lowing as they moved and never veering to the right or left. The Philistine leaders trailed behind them all the way to the outskirts of Beth Shemesh. |
