15. Formal Translation And the Levites brought down the ark of the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant King}, and the chest that was with it, in which were the gold objects, and they placed them on the large stone. The men of Beth Shemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices on that day to the LORD. |
15. Dynamic Translation The Levites took down the ark of the LORD together with the box that was with it, which contained the gold articles, and put them on the big stone. That day the people of Beth Shemesh brought burnt offerings and gave sacrifices to the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful God}. |
