7. Formal Translation And Saul said to his servant, “Behold, we are going; what shall we bring to the man? For the bread is finished from our provisions, and there is no gift to bring to the man of God {Elohim, Divine revelation intermediary}. What do we have with us?” |
7. Dynamic Translation Saul said to his servant, “Look, we are about to go, but what can we give the man? Our food supplies are gone, and we have no gift to take to the man of God {Elohim, Prophetic authority}. What do we have on hand?” |
