   and he strengthened himself or became strong the king Rehoboam in Jerusalem and he reigned for or indeed a son of forty and one {feminine} year Rehoboam in his reigning or when he began to reign and seven ten {in the teens} year he reigned in Jerusalem the city which he chose the LORD to put his name {direct object marker with} there from all tribes of Israel and the name of his mother Naamah the Ammonitess

Exegesis

The relative clause bi-Yerušālayim hā-ʿîr ʼăšer bāḥar YHWH lāšûm ʼet šəmô šām {בִּירוּשָׁלִַם הָעִיר אֲשֶׁר־בָּחַר יְהוָה לָשׂוּם אֶת־שְׁמ֥וֹ שָׁם} combines choice (Qal perfect bāḥar) with purpose (Qal infinitive lāšûm) to emphasize divine selection of Jerusalem as cultic site.
