Exegesis

The verse begins with ve-hinneh {וְהִנֵּה | wə-hin-nēh} ‘and look’, an attention-marker that heightens urgency, followed immediately by immanu {עִמָּנוּ | ʿim-mā-nû} ‘with us’, foregrounding divine presence as the basis of the warning.
