| 12. Formal Translation And look, the God {Elohim, Our Front Leader} is with us at the head, with His priests and the trumpets of the alarm shout to sound an alarm against you. Sons of Israel, do not fight against the LORD {Yahweh, Your Fathers’ Defender}, the God of your fathers, for you will not succeed. |
| 12. Dynamic Translation See, God {Elohim, Present Battle Captain} is leading us from the front, and His priests have the trumpets of the war shout ready to raise an alarm against you. Israelite sons, do not go to war against the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Guardian}, the God of your fathers, because you will not prevail. |
