וַיִּ֛בֶן{va-yiv-BEN###vah-yihv-BEHN###and he built} עָרֵ֥י{a-RE###aa-REE###cities of} מְצוּרָ֖ה{me-tsu-RA###meh-tsoo-RAA###fortified} בִּֽיהוּדָ֑ה{bi-ye-hu-DA###bih-yeh-hoo-DAA###in Judah} כִּֽי־שָׁקְטָ֣ה{ki-sha-ke-TA###KEE-shah-keh-TAA###for it was quiet} הָאָ֗רֶץ{ha-A-rets###haa-AH-rehts###the land} וְאֵין־עִמּ֤וֹ{ve-EN-I-mo###veh-EEN-IHM-moh###and there was not with him} מִלְחָמָה֙{mil-kha-MA###mihl-khah-MAA###war} בַּשָּׁנִ֣ים{ba-sha-NIM###bah-shah-NEEM###in the years} הָאֵ֔לֶּה{ha-E-le###haa-EE-leh###these} כִּֽי־הֵנִ֥יחַ{ki-he-NI-akh###KEE-heh-NEE-akh###for he gave rest} יְהוָ֖ה{ye-ho-VAH###yeh-hoh-VAAH###the LORD} לֽוֹ׃{LO###LOH###to him}
