וְגַֽם־מַעֲכָ֞ה{ve-GAM-ma-a-KHA###veh-GAHM-mah-ah-KHAA###and also Maacah} אֵ֣ם{EM###EEM###mother of} אָסָ֣א{a-SA###ah-SAA###Asa} הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ{ha-ME-lekh###hah-MEH-lehkh###the king} הֱסִירָהּ֙{he-si-RAH###heh-sih-RAAH###removed her} מִגְּבִירָ֔ה{mig-ge-vi-RA###mihg-geh-vee-RAA###from (being) queen mother or lady} אֲשֶׁר־עָשְׂתָ֥ה{a-sher-a-SE-ta###ah-shehr-ah-SEH-tah###who made} לָאֲשֵׁרָ֖ה{la-a-she-RA###laa-ah-sheh-RAA###for Asherah} מִפְלָ֑צֶת{mif-la-TSET###mihf-lah-TSEHT###a horrid thing or a detestable image} וַיִּכְרֹ֤ת{va-yik-ROT###vah-yihk-ROHT###and he cut down} אָסָא֙{a-SA###ah-SAA###Asa} אֶת־מִפְלַצְתָּ֔הּ{et-mif-lats-TAH###eht-mihf-lahts-TAH###(direct object marker) her horrid thing or her detestable image} וַיָּ֕דֶק{va-DAK###vah-DAAK###and he crushed} וַיִּשְׂרֹ֖ף{va-yis-ROF###vah-yihs-ROHF###and he burned} בְּנַ֥חַל{be-NA-khal###beh-NAH-khal###at the wadi or at the brook of} קִדְרֽוֹן׃{kid-RON###kihd-ROHN###Kidron}
