וַיִּ֨תֶּן־חַ֔יִל{va-yit-TEN-kha-YIL###vah-yih-tTEHN-khah-YIHL###and he put or placed strength or forces} בְּכָל־עָרֵ֥י{be-KHOL-a-RE###beh-KHOHL-ah-REE###in all the cities of} יְהוּדָ֖ה{ye-hu-DA###yeh-hoo-DAA###Judah} הַבְּצֻר֑וֹת{ha-be-tsu-ROT###hah-beh-tsuh-ROOT###the fortified (ones) or the fortified (cities)} וַיִּתֵּ֤ן{va-yit-TEN###vah-yih-tTEHN###and he put or set} נְצִיבִים֙{ne-tsi-VIM###neh-tsih-VEEM###garrisons or officers} בְּאֶ֣רֶץ{be-E-rets###beh-EH-rehts###in the land of} יְהוּדָ֔ה{ye-hu-DA###yeh-hoo-DAA###Judah} וּבְעָרֵ֣י{u-ve-a-RE###oo-veh-ah-REE###and in the cities of} אֶפְרַ֔יִם{e-fe-RA-yim###eh-feh-RAH-yihm###Ephraim} אֲשֶׁ֥ר{a-SHER###ah-SHEHR###which or that} לָכַ֖ד{la-KHAD###laa-KHAHD###he captured} אָסָ֥א{a-SA###ah-SAA###Asa} אָבִֽיו׃{a-VI-v###aa-VEEv###his father}
