   and they stood up sons of Ammon and Moab against inhabitants of Mount Seir to devote to destruction and to destroy and when they finished them with inhabitants of Seir they helped a man against his companion to destroy

Exegesis

The construct bənê ʿammôn {בְּנֵי עַמּוֹן | bənê ʿammôn} ‘sons of Ammon’ coordinated with wəmoʾâv {וּמוֹאָב | wə-mo-ʼāv} identifies the allied aggressors, while yōšəḇê hār se‘îr {יֹשְׁבֵי הַר־שֵׂעִיר | yōšəḇê hār se‘îr} ‘inhabitants of Mount Seir’ marks their target.
